Work Package 7
WP Leader: ENEA
The objective of WP7 is to deliver policy recommendations for supporting best practices of ICT implementation in energy efficient smart grids through experiences gained in Test Bed simulations and Test Range in place in different EU-countries. The compilation of a first Directory of existing EU Test Facilities will be attempted.
Task 7.1: Definition of the Test Facilities requirements.
Task 7.1 will define Test Facilities requirements suitable for the validation of Best Practices of ICT solutions supporting Energy Efficiency in smart generation grids. The goal is to explore criteria for the definition of the requirements for good test achievement.
THE DELIVERABLE D7-2 OF TASK 7.1 IS NOW AVAILABLE!
Task 7.2: Compilation of an EU Directory of Test Facilities.
Task 7.2 will compile an EU Directory of Test Facilities for ICT solutions supporting Energy Efficiency in smart generation grids. The goal is an attempt to compile a first EU Directory of Test Facilities, propose the minimum parameters for a benchmark of the facilities, deliver policy recommendations supporting best practice of ICT implementation in energy efficient smart grids.
Task 7.3: Experiences of Best Practices with existing Test Facilities.
Task 7.3 will collect a range of experiences gained in different EU Test Facilities and analysis of the results with the purpose of gap analysis. This task will investigate not only issues of transportability of the Test achievements, but also repeatability and repetitiveness concepts for a large scale implementation.
